The starters that you will find in the submenu on the left are a selection of dishes that although categorised under starters can just as easily be enjoyed as main courses. If you were to attend a festive occasion in Sardinia such as a baptism or wedding it is unlikely that you would find many of these dishes on the menu, instead you would probably find a selection of cold sliced meats such as Salsiccia Sarda, Cured Sardinian hams, salami and olives. This having been said though in the family environment a three course meal is the norm for both lunch and dinner and many of these recipes find themselves devoured across the tables of Sardinian homes.
